Our brand new machine is designed by Imagederm which utilizes medical grade crystals and a diamond tip which further buffs and polishes the skin.
THE HISTORY
Microdermabrasion is a very popular skin treatment in many countries. It was invented in Italy in the 1980’s, but didn’t become popular in the US until the late 1990’s. Since that time it has become the mainstay of skin treatment in many skin care salons as well as doctors offices.
TECHNIQUE
Microdermabrasion is basically a form of skin polishing. A hollow wand is rubbed over the surface of the skin. Within the wand is an air vacuum, which contains tiny particles of an abrasive agent. As these particles are vacuumed across the surface of the skin, they gently abrade away the surface layers of dead cells. Removing this dead cell layer exposes a new layer of fresh cells, which have a cleaner, brighter appearance.

In addition, the results are best when microdermabrasion is used in conjunction with a skin care regimen at home.
